內容簡介

　　《中國民族器樂(英文版)》收錄袁靜芳老師民族器樂研究成果，並且將其學術成果翻譯成英文，以便中外學者的學術交流。袁靜芳老師一生緻力於中國傳統音樂研究，這本書的齣版可以讓這些研究成果走齣去，讓世界瞭解中國傳統音樂。

作者簡介

　　袁靜芳，1936年生，湖南嶽陽人。1961年畢業於中央音樂學院。現任中央音樂學院現代遠程音樂教育學院院長、佛教音樂文化研究中心主任。兼任北京市學位委員會學科評議組成員、中國音樂傢協會民族音樂委員會副主任、中國傳統音樂學會副會長、《中國民族民間器樂麯集成》副主編等職。教授、博士生導師。代錶論*有《民族器樂》、《中國佛教京音樂研究》、《河北巨鹿道教法事音樂》、《樂種學》、《中國傳統音樂概論》、《中國漢傳佛教音樂文化》、《中國傳統器樂》等主要學術論文與文章一百餘篇。1992年獲中華人民共和國國務院頒發的“為文化藝術事業做齣突齣貢獻的政府特殊津貼證書”，1999年獲英國劍橋國際傳記中心授予的“20世紀成就奬"、“韆年國際婦女”、“20世紀國際名人”、“1999-2000年度國際婦女奬"。其個人傳記被“英國劍橋國際傳記中心"編入《國際名人傳記音樂捲》、《2O世紀兩韆名國際知名知識分子》、《國際名人傳記亞洲太平洋捲》、《20世紀名人》、《名人傳記》典籍之中。
