《中華人民共和國藥典》（簡稱《中國藥典》）2015年版，藥典包括凡例、正文及附錄，是藥品研製、生産、經營、使用和監督管理等均應遵循的法定依據。所有國傢藥品標準應當符閤中國藥典凡例及附錄的相關要求。新版藥典進一步擴大藥品品種的收載和修訂，共收載品種5608種。一部收載品種2598種，其中新增品種440種。二部收載品種2603種，其中新增品種492種。三部收載品種137種，其中新增品種13種、修訂品種105種。首次將上版藥典附錄整閤為通則，並與藥用輔料單獨成捲作為新版藥典四部。四部收載通則總數317個，其中製劑通則38個、檢測方法240個、指導原則30個、標準物質和對照品相關通則9個；藥用輔料收載270種，其中新增137種、修訂97種。
