究其原因，大概因為羅傑斯上尉是個一百多歲的老人，又是個心係傢國的職業軍士。他的精神世界，無法完全脫離20世紀三四十年代田園牧歌時代的舊美國。這麼一個英雄，在性格上，是比較古闆無趣的，讓他沉思和賣萌都十足為難。否則跟妹子接個吻，至於你獵鷹和鼕兵笑得這麼猥瑣嗎。正因為這樣再常見不過的感情外露，對美隊是一種奢侈，意義不亞於處男初夜。
