　　舉個例子，要驗證行星都是圓的，如果我們使用歸納法，那就需要運用歸納原理，這個原理應至少規定，一部分行星是圓的可以推齣全部是圓的，而這個原理則又需要用歸納法去證明，於是循環往復，無限倒退。而用演繹法，如果我們證明圓的且隻有圓的纔能滿足星體運行規律，所以所有的行星都是圓的，那麼就不存在邏輯上的矛盾。而這一論斷存在邏輯上的可證僞性，即發現一顆行星不是圓的，即可證僞（不一定要實際上證僞，邏輯上存在可證僞性即可），所以，可以說這是一個科學理論。
