评分这本书和我的童年、少年记忆都紧紧地联系。小时候在广播中听过中文的小说连载，后来又读了英文原著。写得热情似火、又悲伤如歌。

评分##细致生动。至少是五年来看过的最好的小说。
评分##身处澳大利亚时读的书。个人认为如果想了解生活在澳大利亚乡村是什么感觉，读这本书就能估摸五六了。如果以后想念澳大利亚了，我会再翻翻这本书的……
评分##当年看的时候真蛮毁三观的，和神父偷情、给丈夫带绿帽子、生下情夫的孩子、完全知情却当什么都没发生的母亲……有些故事，真的是长大了才读得懂。
