评分##汤姆苏直男癌的YY之作，顺风顺水男人放着老婆不爱，遇到妖艳初恋便要抛弃整个世界，初恋也爱他若生命（还美味地吞下他所有液体，大男子主义YY极致），关键时刻却无声息消失、不打扰他生活。前面刚刚说着与太太初见时，一分别便像是落入了无止境的孤独中无法存活，后来遇到（得不到的）初恋却秒变饥渴直男，曾经跟其他女人包括太太的感情就都不是真爱了，还一脸无辜地表示：“这是伟大的初恋、错过的真实自我，我有什么办法呢？而且我们独生子女，有无法抹去的生命中的孤独和灵魂的吸引。”我呸，那你来了中国岂不是天天神魂颠倒，几亿人都是你的灵魂伴侣？这么多年我自诩人渣，自以为很洒脱骄傲，才发现其实我根本不是个渣，而世上太多人都打着太多算盘，这个心怀鬼胎的邪恶世界，令人好想避世。
评分##更像是村上的半自传，渣男在有钱岳父的帮助下开了2酒吧，偶遇25年前的同学后激情复燃找了一堆理由为自己开脱刚要奋不顾身和爱人走天涯的时候，同学消失了。自我折磨了一阵儿看没啥结果又回到了老婆身边的故事。#四个字概括思想：no zuo no die
评分##其实小时候看过中文版，但是不怎么记得了。读英文版的开头觉得整个文风好亲切，和以前用中文读的村上都有点不一样（每次读英译都有这种感觉）。年龄渐长读书的乐趣竟然多出来一项：重读的时候像从没读过一样。其实和挪威森林气氛差不多，人的孤独和终究莫名妥协掉的爱情。这个阶段村上写的每本书都像是path not taken的他自己。
