作者簡介

Harper Lee (born April 28, 1926) is an American author known for her 1961 Pulitzer-Prize-winning novel To Kill a Mockingbird, which deals with the issues of racism that the author observed as a child in her hometown of Monroeville, Alabama. Despite being Lee's only published book, it led to her being awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom for her contribution to literature. Lee has received numerous honorary degrees but has always declined to make a speech. Other significant contributions include assisting her close friend Truman Capote in his research for the book In Cold Blood.

《殺死一隻知更鳥》屬於那種比較老式的電影，影片有一種讓人難以想象的真實感。影片中充滿瞭對過去那種時代的緬懷之情，我們甚至能從電影中感受到那個時代的勇氣與懷疑。一方麵充滿瞭浪漫主義色彩，另一方麵又深受當時現實主義的影響，宛若一絲光明穿越黑暗的森林引領我們去尋找真理。影片根據哈伯。李的同名小說改編而成，格裏高利。派剋電影生涯中最具代錶的作品之一。《殺死一隻知更鳥》是好萊塢60年代初自由主義的先聲。當時正值美國國內黑人與白人矛盾衝突激化之際，電影雖然說的是經濟大蕭條時的事情，其實正是影射當時國內的現狀。

所述譚傢是個大宅院，巍峨的大門足有兩丈多高，其上蓋以碧瓦，在一溜十盞氣死風燈的映射下，看上去更是氣勢豪邁！門前有石階十數級，左右臥伏著一雙巨大的石獅子，正中是上馬石，沿著兩牆，種植著百株桃樹，此時桃花雖不會開放，卻可以想象到一旦桃花盛開時的瑰麗情景！這一切，足可見宅主譚某人的氣派，也可以想見其不同凡俗之一般。鬍先生平日一嚮不輕易顯露其身上武功的，隻見他拉扯著身上的長袍，小心翼翼地行過那片染有雪泥的爛泥巴路，最後踏上瞭直通大門的青石闆大道。夜風吹過來。這邊的鬆樹發齣悅耳的一片鬆濤，鬍先生機伶伶地打瞭個寒顫。這當口，他可不知道是不是眼花瞭，卻看見瞭一條飛快的人影，正由西麵那片遼闊的冰河上忽起忽落地嚮著這邊奔來。時值新春，河上的結冰已全溶解，昔日堅實得可以行走大車的河麵，現在變成微泛蕩漾的一片碧波——冰麵上行人不稀奇，可是水麵上行人就太稀罕瞭。這個人顯然不曾乘船，而是施展著令人觸目驚心的輕功上乘身法，可能是傳聞中的“八步淩波”身法！這種身法的運用，在於一氣嗬成，全憑一股自丹田提起的真氣，每八步換息一次，這類輕功多係在陸地施展的多，敢於在水麵上施展的卻是少之又少，因為必須八步一落，一腳踏不實在，可就有墜水覆身之危！鬍先生一望之下，頓時心中吃瞭一驚，他身子趕忙嚮身旁的柏樹後麵一倚，銳利的目光，緊緊逼嚮水麵上的那位不速之客。來客這身輕功，端的是令人震驚不已，不過是眨眼的工夫，已竄越過遼闊的冰河上麵，風掣電馳般來到瞭眼前！現在鬍先生可以十拿九
