5 Structure and Performance of Components
5.1 Car Body
5.1.1 Steel structure of car body shall be metal and whole-bearing type,with strength and rigidity
meeting requirements of TB/T 1335-1996.
5.1.2 Design of steel structure of car body shall meet requirements of anti-corrosion,and connection
type should not be used.Anticorrosive material shall be used for parts vulnerable to corrosion,and
measures shall be taken to prevent water vapor entering into the structure.Steel structure of car body
shall have no filling after cutting or replacement of damaged parts in the following 1 5 years.
5.1.3 Necessary installation holes shall be set on the steel structure of car roof,and the movable
cover added shall be waterproof.
5.1.4 Limit deviation of main dimensions of car body's steel structure and irregularity of outside
surface shall meet requirements of Appendix A.
5.1.5 After assembly of car body steel structure,water pouring test shall be made according to TB/T 1802-1996 and leakage shall be eliminated.
5.1.6 Few or no wooded structure shall be used inside car body,and fire retardant and anticorrosive
treatment shall be made for wooden structure.
5.1.7 Interior structure and components of interior decoration shall be fixed firmly and easy for
dismantlement and installation.Interior structure shall have enough strength and rigidity,and
necessary noise reduction measures shall be taken at connection parts to avoid abnormal sound during operation. Obvious collision or scratch shall not exist on the surface of interior decoration,and
irregularity limit of surface shall comply with the following requirements:
Irregularity limits of plates mounted on end wall,side wall,partition and roof shall be no more
than 2 mm,while the irregularity 1imit of floor surface shall be 13.omore than 3 mm.
5.1.8 Heat insulation of car body shall be installed tightly,firmly and evenly.
5.2 Door and Window
5.2.1 As for passenger cars without air conditioner,movable windows shall be equipped.
5.2.2 As for passenger cars with air conditioner,fixed windows shall be equipped and appropriate
movable windows shall be installed.
5.2.3 Insulated glass shall be adopted for passenger cars;transparent windows in the parcel and
luggage rooms of parcel and luggage train and mail rooms of mail train shall use single window type.
5.2.4 Frosted treatment shall be made on the surface of the lower part of kitchen windows and
windows in toilet,1avatory,storage room and water boiler room.
5.2.5 Windows shall be installed firmly.Movable window shall be opened flexibly,closed firmly and
locked well.
5.2.6 Train doors shall use folding,swing,sliding or plug(automatic and manual)types,and
distribution of doors shall facilitate people's evacuation in case of emergency.Train doors shall be
opened and closed flexibly,while lock,hinge,bolt and handle shall work well.As for automatic door,
there shall be no loosening of fixed components and no leakage of gas path,control and protection
functions of the door shall be complete and work well.The up and down of pedal of plug door shall be coordinated with the close and opening of door.
5.2.7 The structure design of door and window shall be easy for glass replacement.
5.2.8 Train door and window shall use safety glass that complies with requirements of GB 1 804 5;Glass of door and window shall be installed tightly and firmly,and be adaptable to pressure variation
during train meeting;each sealing component shall have good waterproof and windproof performance.
5.2.9 When train door and window are in opening or close position,stopping and locking device shall be equipped.
5.3 Internal Equipment
5.3.1 Main equipment installed inside cars shall meet requirements of relevant standards。
regulations,and technical documents approved according to specified procedures。
5.3.2 Safety protection facilities like fire extinguisher and safety hammer shall be installed on
each car.
5.3.3 Internal equipment serving for passengers directly shall be used safely and easily,and shall be marked with sign and instruction if necessary;equipment that not allow passenger to touch shall be marked with warning sign.
5.3.4 Interior design of cars shall meet the principle of ergonomics,and full consideration shall be given to personal safety of passenger.
5.4 Coupler,Draft Gear and Exterior Equipment of Car Body
5.4.1 Automatic coupler or tight-lock coupler shall be used.When automatic one is used。its gauge shall meet requirements of GB/T4952-1995.Tight-lock coupler shall be able to connect with automatic one.
5.4.2 Performance of car buffer shall comply with requirements of TB/T 1961-1987 and relevant technical documents.
5.4.3 Draft gear of automatic coupler shall be assembled according to GB/T 12813-1991.
5.4.4 After assembly of draft gear of automatic coupler,three postural operations and anti-creep performance shall be ensured.
5.4.5 Vestibule and transition plate shall be set at connection parts between cars.Vestibule shall
ensure safe and tight coupling.The distance between transition plate and rail top shall be 1 3 3 3 mm.
5.4.6 At the side door of vestibule。foot step and handrail shall be installed for getting on and off the train.The lifting plate shall be installed firmly and lifted flexibly.And waterproof eave shall be set
above side door.
5.4.7 End wall of car shall be equipped with stairs for climbing on to the roof.
5.4.8 Jacking pad shall be set at the end of body bolster and in the area within 2 m to the inner side of body bolster's central line.
5.5 Bogie
5.5.1 Bogie shall comply with requirements of TB/T 1490-2004 and relevant technical documents.
5.5.2 Bogie shall have static strength。fatigue strength and dynamic performance test complying with requirements of TB/T 1335-1996,GB/T 5599-1985 and relevant technical documents.
5.6 Braking Device
5.6.1 Cars shall be equipped with automatic braking and manual braking devices.
5.6.2 Braking device shall be assembly according to requirements of TB/T 1901-1999.
5.6.3 Passenger cars with highest running speed over 1 20 km/h should be equipped with electropneumatic brake,disc braking equipment and anti-sliding device.
5.6.4 As for passenger cars with air spring,the air used for braking system should be separated with
airs for other devices like air spring.
5.6.5 Emergency braking valve and pressure gage shall be installed inside car.The positions should be end B,and the devices shall work well.
