评分##读这本书，主要是积累时尚知识，帮助平时的口译工作，整体而言有一些参考意义。 1）以视觉的方式简单地呈现了从1883年出生的Coco Chanel到1971年出生的Stella McCartney在内的50位传奇服装设计师，讲述了他们生命中的重要节点。对于时尚有些了解的人而言，这本书可能没有什么读的必要，毕竟书里讲到的多数设计师都是些耳熟能详的名字。不过，还是可以通过这本书了解到设计师的一生对他们的影响，以及设计师之间、设计师跟各品牌之间的联系。 2）英文原版书，用词、用句简单，可以通过这本书学习一些专业的表达，比如，口盖包2.55 Flap Bag，分趾鞋Tabi Shoes等等。
